Each 60 ml syrup contains loratadine 60 mg.



36 months from the date of manufacturing.

Store in a well-closed container, in a dry place. Protect from light. Do not store above 30oC.

  • The symptomatic relief of allergic conditions including rhinitis and chronic urticaria.
  • Administered orally.
  • Adults and children over 12 years of age:
    10 ml once daily.
  • Children 2 - 12 years:
    2 - 5 years: 5 ml daily.
    6 - 12 years: 10 ml daily.
  • In patients with hepatic or renal impairment (creatinine clearance < 30 ml/minute):
    Adults and children aged 6 years and over: Should be given an initial oral dose of 10 ml on alternate days.
    Children aged 2 years to under 6 years: The dose is 5 ml on alternate days.

Or as advised by physicians.


  • Patients who have shown hypersensitivity or idiosyncrasy to any ingredient of the drug.
  • Children under 2 years old.


  • Serious ventricular arrhythmias, as reported with some other second-generation histamine H1-receptor antagonists, have not been observed with loratadine.
    When use loratadine with dosage more than 10 mg daily, following adverse and side effects may occur:


  • Headache.
  • Dry mouth.

Less common

  • Vertigo.
  • Nasal dryness and sneezing.
  • Conjunctivitis.


  • Depression.
  • Tachycardia, supraventricular tachyarrhythmias, palpitations.
  • Nausea.
  • Abnormal hepatic function, menstrual rhythm alteration.
  • Exanthema, urticaria, and anaphylaxis.


  • Hepatic impairment.
  • There is risk of dry mouth, especially in elderly, with increased risk of caries. Especially, careful mouth and dental hygiene is therefore needed.
  • Pregnancy: Safe use of loratadine products during pregnancy has not been established, therefore, use only if potential benefit justifies potential risk to fetus with the lowest effective dose for shortest time.
  • Lactation: Since loratadine and its active metabolite, desloratadine are excreted in breast milk and because of the increased risk of antihistamines for infants, particularly newborns and premature infants, a decision should be made whether to discontinue nursing or discontinue the drug.
  • Effects on ability to drive and use machines: Patients should be informed that very rarely some people experience drowsiness, which may affect their ability to drive or use machines.
