Each sachet of oral suspension contains:

Aluminium hydroxide                           450 mg

(as aluminium hydroxide 14%            3214 mg)

Magnesium hydroxide                          400 mg

(as magnesium hydroxide 30%           1333 mg)

Simethicone                                          50 mg

(as simethicone 30%                           167 mg)



24 months from the date of manufacturing.

Store in a well-closed container, in a dry place, protect from light. Do not store above 30oC.

  • The symptomatic relief of: Dyspepsia, heartburn, flatulence.
  • For oral administration.
  • Adults:
    1 - 2 sachets x 4 times/daily, taken 20 minutes to 1 hour after meals and at bedtime or as required.
  • Children are not recommended.

Or as advised by physicians.

  • Known hypersensitive to any ingredient of the drug.
  • Patients are severely debilitated or suffering from kidney failure, or hypophosphataemia.
  • Very young children because of risk of aluminium toxicity, especially in dehydrated infants and children or infants and children with renal failure.


  • Aluminium hydroxide
    Hypophosphatemia may occur with prolonged administration or large doses;aluminium intoxication and osteomalacia may occur in patients with uremia.
    Common: Constipation, chalky taste, stomach cramps, fecal impaction, nausea, vomiting, discoloration of feces (white speckles).
    Less common: Endocrine and metabolic: Hypophosphatemia, hypomagnesemia.
  • Magnesium hydroxide 
    Diarrhea, an effect that is dose-dependent. Hypermagnesaemia may occur, usually in patients with renal impairment.
  • Simethicone
    Simethicone is apparently nontoxic, and no adverse effects have been reported.


  • In patients with renal impairment, plasma levels of both aluminium and magnesium increase. In these patients, a long-term exposure to high doses of aluminium and magnesium salts may lead to dementia, microcytic anemia.
  • Aluminium hydroxide may be unsafe in patients with porphyria undergoing hemodialysis.
  • Use with caution for patients with congestive heart failure, renal failure, edema, cirrhosis, and low sodium diets, and patients who have recently suffered from gastrointestinal hemorrhage.
  • Monitor phosphorus levels periodically when patient is on chronic therapy.
  • Simethicone is not recommended for the treatment of infant colic because of limited information on its safety in infants and children.
  • The safety of the drug in pregnancy has not been established.
  • Although some aluminium may be excreted in breast milk, the concentration is not great enough to produce an effect in the neonate.
  • Effects on ability to drive and use machines: None stated.
